It’s all about BEA(BookExpo America) this week. Come to booth #3577 and meet some amazing HCI authors!

BookExpo America (BEA). The book trade show where everything publishing shows up and does its best dog and pony show for 48 hours. After months and months of preparation, I’m happy to report that HCI has a place in the show that should dazzle the best of ’em.

The two events that stand out this year are the launching of our reality-based romance line of books, True Vows and the performance of a certain reggae celebrity’s (Bob Marley) son.

We’re serving wedding cake at the HCI booth at 2:00 on Wednesday, May 26th, to kick off  three True Vows books that cleverly match stories of real people  with actual romance novelists. “Ripped from the headlines,” we like to say and the bestselling novelists, Julie Leto and Judith Arnold will be on board to sign advance copies of their books (Hard to Hold and Meet Me in Manhattan) at the HCI booth and in the central autographing area at the Jacob Javits center.

Ky-Mani Marley is also signing his  book , Dear Dad at BEA (4:00 on Wednesday) and adding the special treat of performing his music in the booth! Rumor has it that he’ll be playing his dad’s anthem, “One Love.”

There’s so much else going on courtesy of HCI over the next few days at BEA that it’s best to just take a look at the stellar lineup of authors who will be making appearances.

Come and visit! Have a piece of cake. Shake your tail feathers a little with Ky-Mani.  Meet Jane Velez-Mitchell and talk to the chef behind Gourmet Meals in Crappy Little Kitchens. Meet handsome and talented Jake Ehrenreich who wrote the bookA Jew Grows in Brooklyn.

Ok, that’s a tiny little taste of what’s going on. We’ll see you there!
