Kim Weiss has been in the publishing business since 1994. Prior to her position as Director of Communications for HCI Books (Health Communications, Inc.) she ran her own public relations firm in Boca Raton, FL, called WW Communications, Inc. where she created p.r. campaigns for individuals, corporations, and municipalities. She has been with HCI during the makings of some phenomenal bestsellers including the legendary Chicken Soup for the Soul series, A Child Called "It", What the Bleep Do We Know? and more. Kim also headed up her own imprint at HCI, Simcha Press. She has also been published in the following story collections: Chicken Soul for the Soul Celebrates Cats, Chicken Soup for the Shopper's Soul and Hot Chocolate for the Mystical Soul. In addition to her love of books, Kim has a passion for music which she writes and performs.
